Hello!

I like to think of the art of doll-making as inspiring and calming. I fill each doll I make with love, and hope that this loving energy will carry through to the people who bring my dolls into their families. Welcome to my journal, where I share my creative adventures. Hope you have a pleasant stay!

Bisou

Hello, my name is Bisou! My siblings call me Gentille Bisou). I am not a clown or a comedian, but I am always looking for ways to put a smile on their faces and I love when they hug and kiss me in return.

I’m a natural fiber art ‘girl’, about 15 inches long. I’ve been made with Swiss cotton and stuffed firmly with organic wool. I have a needle-felted face, embroidered deep brown eyes, and painted freckles spilled across the nose and cheeks. There is a wire in my neck, so I can tilt my head slightly, when I’m listening. My long curly hair is goat mohair.

I’ll come to you wearing my favorite corduroy dress, a hand-knitted cashmere/silk cardigan, a pair of batiste underpants, cotton socks, a warm mohair hat, and wool Mary-Janes.

I’m ready to travel and can’t wait to hug my mom!

xoxo,

Bisou
