The other day we were playing with Breeze. It was a sort of pretend game in which my kids would use props from around the house to transform themselves into all kinds of characters. First, the room filled with princes and princesses, then these gradually gave way to a band of warriors jumping unexpectedly out of hiding places, and finally, the next thing I saw was a bunch of hippies helping each other tie their head scarves. And all this in a matter of minutes. I was excited to see how quickly Breeze caught the gist of the game and how incredibly believable all of her characters became. A bow in the hair, and she was a princess. A simple strand of beads and a turban, and she already had a completely different image. It was almost as though someone had waved the magic wand. It was almost as though she was born with a talent for acting.
Who will Breeze be next? It’s all up to you to discover...
Breeze has light tan skin and is 21 inches tall. She is crafted with Swiss cotton fabric and stuffed very firmly with clean, sweet-smelling eco-wool. Her head is needle-sculpted and the hair is soft goat weft, that has been crocheted into a mohair cap and stitched down to the head. Breeze also has little ears, knees, elbows and a cute bum. Her eyes and mouth are embroidered and the cheeks have been blushed with beeswax.
Breeze wears a beautiful underwear set which can be easily adapted as a summer outfit. It is made with gorgeous fine Swiss cotton and French cotton lace. For a second layer, Breeze has a beautiful wide Liberty skirt, a raw silk peasant blouse and a hand-knitted cashmere/alpaca/silk vest with button closure on the shoulders. She has a pair of hand-knitted long, woolen socks and leather shoes.
As becomes a true actress, Breeze is eager to perform any time of day. Besides her talent, she will bring with her a bagful of props.
If you would like to welcome Breeze into your home, she will be ready to find her destiny via auction in my store on Thursday, April 30th, from 7 to 10 PM EST.
Thank you so much for visiting this page and reading about fair maiden Breeze (...or is it Her Excellency Breeze?)!
