"Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns." George Eliot
Lise was born in a quite medieval village far from the hustle of big city life. She grew as a little flower and the sun shone on her as warmly and brightly as on her beautiful garden.
She enjoyed long walks in the woods and loved the peace of nature and the freshness of the wild wind. Fawns, hares, foxes and other wild animals came to her hut to bring her wild berries and mushrooms.
During warm summer days her feet were mostly bare and her lightly tanned body was covered with a beautiful lace gown.
But when, with the turn of the season, the trees were smoke-silver and the roads became covered with rustling leaves, Lise put on her cozy cashmere socks, alpaca boots and warm dress. She loved this feeling of approaching winter and always believed that something wonderful would happen in December. And we all believe!
Tomorrow is December 1st, and we’ve started counting the days in anticipation of something wonderful!
Last night she packed her things into an old suitcase and prepared herself and her beloved little fawn for a long journey to you, my friend! Will you open your doors to this little girl?
Lise will come to you wearing beautiful underwear, made with organic cotton batiste, silk and French embroidered lace. Her cotton/wool dress features a peter pan collar and snap closing in the back. Shimmering sequins add a festive touch to her gorgeous mohair/silk hand-knitted cardigan. Her cashmere socks and alpaca shoes with leather ties will warm her feet in cold winter days. And the fully-lined, plaid alpaca coat, lace mohair scarf and hand-knitted baby alpaca hat will make her long journey easy and pleasant.
Thank you and see you soon!
